Cliff Kindy is an Indiana farmer in the summer and travels the world the rest of the year to get in the way of violence. He has been working with Christian Peacemaker Teams for over 25 years.
Cliff will share about some special friends he has made, including illegal detainees in an Indiana prison and Iraqis in Anbar province.

Tom Benevento is leading an effort to create a sustainable living homestead in the heart of Harrisonburg, Virginia.

This initiative seeks to integrate agroforestry, fish farming, solar applications, an organic garden, transitional housing for the homeless, and other sustainable living features into a community urban homestead.

Come as early as 11:45 to help the lunch line go quickly.

When possible, please come early to PF - even 11:45am. We've had such a fantastically long line of participants this year that we've had trouble starting the presentation on time. This spring we'll have food ready by 11:45 and would be delighted if you could come in early to share in the free, delicious bounty of shared food and fellowship.

We were looking forward to hearing from the presidential candidates regarding faith and security this Sunday evening. Unfortunately, the candidates' campaigns were not able to confirm their participation in time, so the town hall organizers decided it was best to cancel the event.

Our very own Dr. David Johns will present at Peace Forum this week. He will reflect upon "Teaching Theology South of the Border." David has now taken several trips to Honduras, Mexico and Guatemala where is has given presentations and short courses to Quakers in those countries. He has also led an ESR cross-cultural immersion class in Mexico this past January.
