“Deepening the Spiritual Life of a Meeting” Friday September 26, 12-3:30 with lunch provided by ESR (RSVP requested for lunch count)
In meeting for worship, we seek a deep sense of God’s presence among us. What is the role of our appointed minters and elders in anchoring the gathered stillness and nurturing vocal ministry? How can meetings deepen and nurture the spiritual life of the meeting beyond meeting for worship through clearness committees, spiritual nurture, and teaching individual spiritual practice? What does your meeting need now to grow in grace and love? This workshop is an opportunity for dialogue about the role of ministers and elders in both programmed and unprogrammed worship.
