Anyone interested in learning how to use the projector and sound system in Nicarry Chapel is encouraged to attend this informative training session. The seminary is in need of individuals who are willing to learn how to run the A/V equipment for events held in Nicarry, particularly weekly chapel services. Persons of all skill levels are welcome! We will begin shortly after Joint Chapel concludes.
Voices of an Open Spirit is a group of Church of the Brethren folk, who wish to foster conversation and progressive change in our denomination. VOS will have their board of directors meeting at Bethany on October 6, and would like to share a meal and conversation with students and all interested persons.
There will be two pots of soup provided (black bean chili, and potato soup) and we ask that you bring a food dish to share with others. The intensive classes are invited to be a part of this meal and as much of the following conversation as possible. It will be a time of learning what VOS is, as well as talking about our hopes for the denomination.
