IndyKlez, a 7-member klezmer band from the Indianapolis area, is coming to Earlham on Sunday, Feb. 5. The free concert/dance begins at 4 pm in Comstock.
Deriving its roots from Jewish liturgical music, klezmer music was furnished at all Jewish weddings and parties in Eastern Europe. This musical idiom has since made a comeback worldwide.
We are especially encouraging folks to attend who have the inclination to dance!
